He’s trying to make himself relax, to feel as he did earlier, boneless and pleasant and warm. Laertes’ smile does help with that, it warms him from top to toes, and if he were able, he would nuzzle at his hand again. Instead, he sucks experimentally at Laertes’ fingers, arching an eyebrow in a silent question.
